ELGO-DIMITRA with its 11 research institutes supports Greek agriculture to face the challenges arising from global changes.
ELGO-DIMITRA is a Private Law Legal Entity supervised by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food (Law 5035/2023, Official Gazette A' 76/29.03.2023). In the General Directorate of Agricultural Research there is a seven-member Agricultural Research Committee which is the central body for the implementation of the research objectives of ELGO - DIMITRA with decisive powers for the implementation of Law 4310/2014 (A' 258) and Law 4957/2022 ( A' 141), according to article 12 of Law. 5035/2023 (A' 76). The General Directorate of Agricultural Research includes 11 Research Institutes.
