The institute
The Agricultural Economics Research Institute is one of the 11 Institutes of the General Directorate of Agricultural Research of ELGO-DIMITRA. It was founded in 1991 in Athens
AGRERI conducts research in the following research areas:
- Rural economy, development, and policy, focusing on the monitoring, analysis and evaluation of the evolution of the Greek agricultural and fisheries economy and society as well as the evolutions taking place in the relevant European and International environment
- Marketing of agricultural products
- Agricultural sociology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, with the aim of promoting the competitiveness and socio-economic and environmental sustainability of Greek agriculture, livestock and fisheries.
