Dr Georgios Arampatzis is an Agronomist, holding a Ph.D. in soil water movement and an M.Sc. in land reclamation. He is Researcher (Grade A’) in Soil & Water Resources Institute of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization– DIMITRA. His research interests focus on water resources management, irrigation, flow in vadose zone, soil-crop-water relations.

Within his 20-year working experience, he has participated in more than 70 research projects focused mainly in water resources management, monitoring, including HORIZON projects, LIFE and Interreg projects. Coordinator or Scientific Responsible in twenty (20) research projects. Reviewer in Greek and international scientific journals. He has co-authored almost 90 publications, 36 of which in peer-reviewed journals.
