Scientific council
The Scientific Council (No.880/112273/30-04-2020 Decision of the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food) is a 3-year term of office.
It is the highest scientific advisory and advisory body of the organization with responsibilities that include the evaluation and assessment of the research work of the Institutes and consists of the following members:
Georgios Papadakis, Professor of the Agricultural University of Athens, President, with Anastasios Siomos, Professor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as his deputy.
Georgios Banos, Professor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Edinburgh, with Vaios Karathanos, Professor of the Harokopio University.
Dimitrios Savvas, Professor of the Agricultural University of Athens, with Alexandros Papachatzis, Professor of the University of Thessaly as his deputy.
Styliani Chadio - Mantzari, Professor, Agricultural University of Athens, with deputy Professor Efthymia Tsakalidou, Professor, Agricultural University of Athens.
Konstantina Tzia, Professor of the National Technical University of Athens, with deputy Professor of the Harokopio University.
Thomas Papachristou, Research Director of ELGO-DIMITRA, with Chrysoula Tassou, Research Director of ELGO-DIMITRA, as deputy.
Georgia Ouzounidou, Research Director ELGO - DIMITRA, with George Samouris, Research Director ELGO – DIMITRA, as deputy.
